About the administration
The Archives State Agency (ASA) is the state body in the Republic of Bulgaria which implements the nationwide policy on collecting, preserving, arranging and use of historically valuable archival records.
Duties and responsibilities
ASA carries out the state policy on the National Archival Fonds' management, on the functional, administrative and methodical leadership of the State Archives and full control over the archival services' activities of search, collection, preservation and use of the archival records.
